Cafe Read-a-Latte is a Safe Harbor after school program geared to high school students. The program takes place at Michigan City High School from 2:15 to 5:30 Monday through Thursday when school is in session. It offers:

  • Homework help/tutoring
  • Credit Recovery
  • Enrichment opportunities
  • Transportation home on a 4:30 or 5:30 Youth Serving Agency bus
  • Nutritious after-school snack

Students meet at the Wolves Den in the cafeteria after school to sign in and have their snack. At 2:30 all students and staff members go to the media center, which is the hub of Cafe Read-a-Latte activities.
